Deb has returned to the art scene with an output of new work, constantly evolving and aways bringing her enthusiasm to every piece.

Deb began exhibiting her work at 13 and received numerous awards in juried shows by the age of 15.  At 19, Deb exhibited at a juried art festival with 180 artists.  She was awarded Best in Show, First Place in Painting, Second Place in Drawing and Design, and a Purchase Award.  In a Florida State College at Jacksonville Student Show, Deb received First Place in Design for her sculpture.

Selected as an apprentice for a graphic design artist at 15, Deb’s work appeared in the local Gator Bowl Program and she was the assistant on the Florida Citrus Orange Bird account.

Other awards include:

  • Artist-in-Residence for Clay County Schools

  • Public Relations Director and Career Counselor for Douglas Anderson School of the Arts

  • Selected to join the White House Advance Team

Deb’s journey as an artist took a several-year detour within the corporate sector.  With her passion for people and creative approach in every role, Deb always chose positions that provided opportunities to assist customers, meet new people and provide an increased customer base for the corporations she represented.  Many people that began as customers have remained friends over many years.
