Vernice has been one of my dearest friends since we were 16. At 18, we moved into our own apartment in Orange Park. This portrait was at Club Continental and was originally purchased for a private collection by a doctor who had collected many of my early works. After many years, he felt Vernice should have the portrait and it is now in its rightful place.
